MEETING POINT Your guide will pick you up from the “FRESKO” Yogurt Bar located on 3, Dionysiou Areopagitou st. which is at the beginning of the pedestrian walkway that takes you from Hadrian’s Arch to the Acropolis.

Please be at the meeting point at 11:15 am.

This tour is a part of the tour “Athens City Tour & Acropolis” which starts earlier.

Our guide with his/her group will come to the meeting point between 11:15 am and 11:30 am the latest.

*On Good Friday (Greek Orthodox Easter) our tour starts at 12:15 pm.

ENTRANCE FEES Admission fees for all places we visit during the Just the Acropolis Tour (Parthenon, Nike temple, Propylea, Erechtheion and Dionysus Theatre) are not included in the tour’s price.

We usually buy the tickets for you in advance, in order not to line up.
Please make sure that you have enough cash (euros) with you to purchase the tickets.

OPERATION DATES
The tours take place daily, except on the following public Holidays:
  • January 1st – New Year’s Day
  • March 25th – National Holiday
  • Greek Orthodox Good Friday (before 12:00)
  • Greek Orthodox Easter Sunday
  • May 1st – Labor Day
  • October 28th- National Holiday
  • December 25th & 26th – Christmas
The tour take place in all weather, rain or shine
BOOKING ORDER / RESERVATION Please fill in all the requested fields of the tour booking form and press the “Book Now” button to proceed with your Booking Order (Your Reservation).

You will be then redirected to your Cart to verify your order and finally to the Checkout page, to make the payment via your credit or debit card (through the secure environment of Alpha Bank e-Commerce Service or Paypal).

Once the payment has been completed the following notifications will be sent automatically to your email:

  • Electronic Transaction Confirmation for your Booking Order from the payment gateway
  • A thank you message from Greece Tour Hub with your booking order details, for your reference, including the contact details of your local Tour Operator

BOOKING CONFIRMATION The final Tour Booking Confirmation is performed within 24 hours after your reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations must be made in writing to the GreeceTourHub by e-mail.
  • You receive 100% refund in case the tour is canceled 72 hours prior to the start time of the tour.
  • You are refunded 50% of the amount in case the tour is canceled 24hours prior to the start time of the tour.
  • If the tour is canceled in less than 24 hours prior to the start time of the tour, then you are not entitled to a refund.

A visit to the Athens Acropolis

Even if your time in Athens is limited, our Acropolis Tour will offer you an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience. We can give you in our guided, comprehensive tour an excellent and valuable trip to the magnificent monuments of the area.

We will enter the Acropolis from the southern side, to first visit the Ancient Theatre of Dionysus built in the 5th century BC, dedicated to the god of wine making.

As we ascend up to the Acropolis (also called the Sacred Hill), we have a lovely view of modern Athens.

Our guide will give you all the relevant information about the many monuments on and around the Acropolis:

  • The famous Parthenon, the most important monument of Ancient Greek civilization, dedicated to Athena the patron goddess of Athens

  • Philopappos Hill or (Muses Hill), from where you can have a fantastic view of the Acropolis and all of Athens
  • Mars or Areopagus Hill
  • Pnyx Hill, where the ancient Athenians gathered for political discussions
