Athens food adventure will take you on a culinary journey, through non-touristy areas with our foodie expert. Traditional Greek flavours will unfold through this discovery of Greek culinary delights. With a wide variety of fresh ingredients such as herbs, olives, cheese, sweet treats and of course olive oil.
Not forgetting tiropita, spanakopita, loukoumades or bougatsa.

Let our foodie expert take you on a journey through the daily shopping streets of Athens. You will soon discover the four pillars that characterize Greek cuisine “fresh ingredients, richness in vitamins, variety and simplicity.
Discover the aromas from baked goods, fresh from the oven. The delights from behind the glass counters, that temp you to have more. Stalls stacked high with fresh, vibrant, colourful and fragrant fruit and vegetables all of which will be in season.
Visit unique stores specializing in olives and olive oil, cold cuts and tsipouro and cheeses. Here you will be able to see and taste some of the products they produce and sell.
Walk through the central market VARVAKIOS and watch the local’s shopping at the impressive stalls with an array of meat, fish, fruit, vegetables and dried good like herbs and nuts.
Our foodie expert will introduce you to a varied cuisine, as diverse as the individual regions of the country. Discover dishes of game from the mountains, fish from the coastal regions and vegetables dishes from the hinterland. There is a lot more than Souvlaki, Moussaka or Greek salad that will ignite your taste buds.
