Admission Fees to Archaeological Sites & Museums of Attica

ENTRANCE FEES VALID AS FROM APRIL 01, 2016

*NOTE:  The reduced entrance fees apply to:

– All visitors, during the period November 01 to March 31 of each year

– Greek citizens and citizens of other Member – States of the European Union aged over 65 years old by showing their ID card or passport.

– Students of Higher Education Institutes and equivalent Schools from countries outside the EU by showing their student ID

Entrance is free to all visitors on the following days:

• 6 March (Memory of Melina Mercouri)
• 18 April (International Monument Day)
• 18 May (International Museum Day)
• The last weekend of September (European Days of Cultural Heritage)
• October 28^th
• Every first Sunday, from November 1^st to March 31^st

The following visitors are entitled to FREE ADMISSION:

• Young persons under 18 years of age (with current identification to prove age).
• Students from Higher Education Institutions and Tour Guide Training Institutions, from EU countries, with current student identification card or International Student Identity Card (ISIC)
• Tour Guides with professional license from the Hellenic Ministry of Development
• Teachers or parents accompanying children on primary & secondary education school visits
• Official guests of the Greek Public
• Visitors with disabilities from EU and non-EU countries and person accompanying them
• Archaeologists, with current working identification card

 ** Specifically for the Acropolis Museum:

The following visitors are entitled to a REDUCED ADMISSION FEE

• Students from Higher Education Institutions, from non-EU countries, with current student identification card or International Student Identity Card (ISIC)
• Young persons under 18 years of age, from non-EU countries, with current identification card to confirm age
• Greek Senior citizens and Senior citizens from EU countries, 65 years of age and over, with current identification card to confirm age

The following visitors are entitled to FREE ADMISSION:

• Young persons under 18 years of age, from EU countries, with current identification card
• Children under 5 years of age, from non-EU countries
• Students from Higher Education Institutions and Tour Guide Training Institutions, from EU countries, with current student identification card or International Student Identity Card (ISIC)
• Tour Guides with professional license from the Hellenic Ministry of Development
• Teachers or  parents accompanying children on primary & secondary education school visits
• Journalists, with current journalists’ identification card
• Official guests of the Greek Public
• Visitors with disabilities from EU and non-EU countries and person accompanying them
• Archaeologists, with current working identification card
